What if during the process of dealing with a failed relationship, you miss the opportunity to form a bond with someone, simply because you weren't ready? It is rather sad to think that because of my lack of healing fast enough, that I may have missed finding the right person for me.

I don't believe in missed opportunities like that. It's too defeatist for me. I'd rather have faith that when the time IS right, the universe will present someone to me. They won't be perfect, they won't ride in on a white steed, but they will offer me something and I will do the same in return. Then the only thing left is for me to choose if that's the direction I want to take.

I agree with Mojo. We can all have more than one right person during our lifetimes. Didn't all of us feel that our ex's were the right person for us at one time?
