All men don't cheat but many do but so do women. It's defiantly hurtful though. I was cheated on...not my most recent breakup tho.

I think there are some men who want to be married but don't want to be with one woman, and then there are others who want to be married to one woman and take great pride in that ;)

Not all men cheat at least all the time. when I was younger 21 yr old days I cheated on my girlfriend, she never found out. after a while we eventually split up. I then dated and married the woman I cheated with. I felt so horrible for cheating I never thought about doing it again, I would always find reason to get away when another woman tried to seduce me and there were a few. anyway ive been married for 13 yrs now my wife is cheating on me and we are separated karma truly is a bitch. I am truly broken and crushed and cant do much about it. fate really played me , I was young and dumb then not so young anymore still dumb for still wanting my stbx back.

Not all men cheat. I am a man. I have never cheated. Never ever crossed my mine. I was always faithful. I had 2 girlfriends in high school they both cheated on me. I was married for 19 years and 22 years together. She had multiple affairs. We were happy so I thought and one day she just changed. She didn't cheat for love she cheated for sex. She is not even picky on who she beds. She picks seedy guys up at bars and brings them to my former home and bed. My son caught her once.
Why do so many women cheat?

I was totally devoted to my ex-wife. I would flirt, but that's just an adult game. I don't cheat in committed relationships, either.

Both sexes can be swayed by things that turn them on and it comes down to the character of the individual. I've been cheated on by one girlfriend once, and possibly my wife. I have strong morals and don't put up with cheaters.

I'm a man, I was married 11 years (together 13 total) and I never cheated. We divorced after i caught my wife cheating. This was almost 7 years ago)

I'm currently dating a woman I met 2.5 years ago. I have not cheated on her either.

Personally, I think men and women are the same on this issue. Some cheat, some don't. Different reasons are given for "why" but I suppose that doesn't matter all that much. If you cheat, then you are a cheater regardless of why.

In my opinion, I think cheating women get away with it far easier than like-minded male cheaters. Why? Far more opportunities. That's the way of it.

If a person is not of the cheating mindset then they will not do it. Their personal integrity won't allow for it. If they don't have that personal integrity? They will cheat--man or woman or whatever.

This is a great post so thank you for posting it, My thought is not all men cheat I have friends that are married and their husband has never cheated but sure they have thought about it but they know what they have is priceless and would not want to end what they have for a one night fling. On a different note I think that men that do cheat are the ones that are not secure in their own skin and need that attention and hold no 2nd thought to it . I could never cheat on my stbx I just don't have that in my morals.

I stick with one woman, and do not cheat. As many bad guys as there are out there, they are out there in similar numbers when it comes to scandalous skanks who only think of themselves and will roll you to get whatever they want before they leave you on the floor.

I started seeing them when I grew up and took a new attitude toward sexual relationships. However, I didn't see it until it was too late. Got with the ex for "farewell sex," she poked holes in the condoms, and she hit the child support lottery for 21 years.

That's what it was all about for her. She never loved me. Hell, she never even LIKED me.

Sex is dangerous, and some people like the danger. But not me. I jumped, mu chute failed to open, and I survived somehow, so no more tempting fate. I stick with that one woman who actually gives a flying fk about me, and who cares what happens to me. This is why it's so important to make the relationship about her as a person, and not how "hot" she might be. Hot goes away, but the inside does not.

It has nothing to do with my "morals" or how I'm better than others who cheat. It has to do with covering my own ass and protecting myself. As much as men want to get laid, this is how much women want to get pregnant, and they have THE LAW on their side when it comes to things like handing over the child support. Want to visit the kid?
