This journey
My journey
I must
Walk
Alone
No one can
Tread my steps
Nor point
The way
For
Me
Yet I walk
In strength
And wonder
As I
Do
At
The
Indescribable
Beauty
Of
This
World
And I know
I am going
The right way
For
Me
I am safe
And loved
At all times
By the one
I call
Me
And
I
Know
I Am ANGELa DAWN
He went into the Army and while he was in basic training he said I didn't send him enough letters and it made him feel abandoned and he was fearful that when he deployed I wouldn't provide enough support. He basically lost that lovin' feeling. The truth is I did send letters. I was working 3 jobs and raising 2 kids on my own when he left. I didn't get as many off as I should have. I knew he needed them. To me that's when he should have said 'look I'm hurting here and you're making me feel abandoned.' He instead waited 6 months and let it eat away inside until he 'wasn't in love with me anymore'. It sounds like such a silly thing but I understand who he is and what he needs and he's in training for the most stressful job you can get yourself into in the army. And he doesn't deal with stress well! But if he can turn his back and walk away when I don't make him feel good, it was doomed from the beginning. So I guess his flaw is lack of self esteem and staying power. He doesn't like negative feelings and it's impossible to have a relationship with those pesky things popping up at some point. It makes me sad because he is so amazing. He's sexy, brilliant, funny, responsible, fun... *sigh*. I think he's under so much pressure that he can't deal with a family and do what he has to do in the Army. I feel sorry for both of us because he seems so lost and I can't help him at all. He wants distance and I'm giving it to him.
