Sorry Heave. You aren't cursed. Just a victim of pass-the-buck.
Now let me ask the general public here...much like workmens comp, should i have to pay for medication that i need as a result of thigs i was exposed to while serving my country? I'm also planning on writing a letter to Tammy Duckworth.
Either that or a rabid Tazmanian Devil!
You get the picture. SO I have to wait around for them to call so that i can figure out when I can get my freakin' meds.
I am jobless and money is tight. This is the last bit of crap that I need right now.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE KEELHAULED OVER THIS!
I don't understand how one of the most advanced countries on earth can't provide basic health care for their residence... Not even your children are being cared for... that just sucks!!
My insurance was okay then I got divorced and lost it. I have one prescription to fill: and I just pay out of pocket....it's pricey but I need it; no choice with that. I rather not have a headache with the insurance; I just go get my meds.....
they will pay 80% of your prescriptions and will cover off just about all your theraputic needs... Chiro, Massage, Orthopedics, Orthopedic Bra's (don't ask...)as well as a myriad of different counselling options.
Whenever I screw up I get screamed at, in trouble, or something along those lines. Whenever the companies do this they just tie you up in red tape and pass the blame along.
All I want is simple...Just re-instate my health insurance because I fucking paid for the God damn thing two fucking months ago!
I've held off getting my prescriptions ... because they are so pricey. NOW I'm told my meds are from 'Pre-Existing Conditions" and are not covered.
Besides getting shot or getting pg (don't go there) what the heck isn't a pre-existing? I have seasonal allergies, take an anti-depressent, and a sleep aid.... in order for my insurance to pay for them I could not have them filled for 12 months (not even to pay for them myself).
Crock of ****
After several rounds of heated debates I finally got ahold of a supervisor for my insurance carrier. The supervisor re-instated me.
Called my Pharmacy. I told them what was going on. They said that they would run the prescriptions through but they might get rejected because it takes 24 hours a lot of times. I tried to give them a number to call if the prescriptions got denied. The Pharmacy wouldn't take the number and they said that they deal with a subcontractor who handles the prescription refills.
UGH! I hate ice skating uphill all of the time. One of these days something has to go my way!
