I would wait until he left in the morning before I got up. The barrage of inconsiderate, disrespectful antics began as soon as his feet hit the floor...
Turning the ceiling light on in the bedroom to slamming doors, waking me up to ask where piece of his uniform were
Once I got up and got to the shower my head would be hit with a blast of cold water because he forgot to shut the shower head off before the water, then find my wet towel to dry off because he used both towels and then find that my toothbrush was used one more time.
It got to the point that I hid my towel and toothbrush...
By the time he got home (he'd call me to tell me he was on the way home, ask if I anything from the store, then promptly arrive home 2 hours late and no milk or what ever he offered to get) I would be so frustrated (because I'd also receive so many "surprises" during the day that I would have deal with) and ready to burst, and he would complain that dinner was cold or make a critical comment about the food (Really he complained about MY cooking). Even after many previous discussions pleas, and counseling sessions, he still never understood or cared that I was upset. He still tried to snuggle up to me without any apology, remorse or willingness to make things better. I no longer hid my disdain- that made me a bitch!
His behavior repulsed me
Now what are you gonna do with it, or about it???
As for the anniversary, I'm just gonna work. It's just another day.
