Can we please discuss the bachelor for a minute?  Do you watch this? This show makes me kind of sick. 


I only say because this is just the way I imagine my ex living.  Is this what men dream of honestly? I know these ladies are beautiful don't get me wrong but really? We don't all have the chance of looking or feeling as cute as these girls do and don't you think that plays a part in every day sexuality?

I actually have never seen it. Nor do I want to. But ibtotally believe you. I find these shows disgusting as is.

Yeh, I agree with serenity. those shows are all pretty much trash. Honestly, they are contrived, and they glorify conflict to get ratings. think about it. A nice show about two people who are kind and treat each other well would be pretty boring to watch... so that's why they have to make the conflict, so that people will get worked up and watch it.

Don't just blame men. They also have a show called the "bachorlette" which is the same thing only for women. Sadly, a lot of people are like that. I have seen a woman, a very attractive woman, for the first time since I was divorced. After a month or so I realized that our relationship consisted of me taking her to very expensive dates and out to fancy restaurants to eat. Also, fixing things around her home. Yes, there are a lot of crappy people out there. Sad but true.

Dave - I'm sorry I wasn't just referring to men, I meant both sides. The way people try to attract the opposite sex and the scandelous things they do to get them. I know I'm being silly and its just a show, but people really do act that way in real life and yes infidelity and commitment are in many cases not valued any longer just like STex said.

I agree with STex said. And no I don't watch. I always thought it seems pretty desperate for people to go on the shows. It seems like a show all our ex's would want to be on :)

Personally, I think marriages should be done as a contract. You put your goals and wants down. And your partner theirs. Now every 2 to 3 years, you evaluate your contract. If your expectations aren't met then you have the right to dissolve the union.

After all it was written down. No more bitter divorces or lawyers. U settle everything up front. Child care, child support, spousal support, nuptial agreement, etc....

Oh and my two bits on this reality show... Sorry I can't spell it out but I will describe it. Imagine a person inhaling through their nose and trying to gather as much phleme as possible. Now I am spitting it on the ground.

Yep that what I think about that show.

    I'm horrified!  I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000.  I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter.  I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change.  Now this!  I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000.  I guess I have to pay...

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
