It should be interesting and I'm getting a case of nerves but I think I'm more nervous over the dancing part as I haven't done that in maybe 13 years!! Not since with my first ex!!! I have the feeling it won't be pretty and I pray there are lots of people on the dance floor or I probably won't be out there!!! I may have a lot of bravado on here but in person I am pretty shy by nature..
Wish me luck!!
Let us know how it goes!

I don't have many moves (not that I ever did!!!!) but she was happy that I danced to begin with, and we both loved the slow songs as she's 5-8 and likes my height as most guys she has dated were short. She was able to place her head on my chest and I sure wasn't complaining. I liked just spending time with her doing something fun instead of sitting home by myself killing time, bored out of my skull.
Gotta admit that we ended each slow dance holding hands, wide smiles and a quick peck on the lips. It felt so natural and innocent. The Toby Keith song "you shouldn't kiss me like this" kept coming to mind but again, we are just friends.
Living life is getting to be fun again and I'm now looking forward to each day. She lives almost an hour away and with my having rotating weekends off, we can plan on things to do while keeping everything slow and in balance which is definitely what I need to do until I can get my head in the right place but I'm obviously headed in the right direction thanks to the DS family.
I think that I maybe hit my "A-Ha Moment" once I got the divorce filing done this week as my attitude has changed and I no longer only feel the darkness. Most importantly in my outlook is the last tears were Monday morning at the clerks office. There is life once again!!
Great job, buddy...we are rooting for you!
