Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Sounds like he's really trying to worm his way back in as you say. I tell ya it will just be more of the same, nobody changes in that short of time, but I know you know that. Take care and stay strong for your kids.
With the baby..he will use her to get to u
Once he's in the door he won't leave and
You don't need this kind of torture...I wish he would leave so I can heal
If she ever expressed an interest in reconciling at this point I would laugh in her face and say I have no trust or respect for you, get the eff out of here. She disgusts me and I am trying to replace my mental "image" of her with the new, narcissistic, skanky, disrespectful, social media addict version of her.
I may "feel" somewhat broken right now, but I can put myself back together. My stbx is broken in a way that is probably not reversible. I don't think you can get your integrity back. And years of cheating and lying have to do a number on a person as well.
Today started out bad for me. Most days do, actually. I hate mornings. But usually I start to feel better by afternoon, especially if I manage to get a workout in and/or eat some lunch. Hang in there, as you probably know your mood can change a lot hour-to-hour as this point in time.
And do NOT let him spend any extra time with you or in your house. I still have to live with my stbx and that is the HARDEST part of all this, by far. Keep him away as much as possible. Let him see the baby somewhere else even, like at a park.
Best wishes.
I feel for you and express exactly the same sentiment as Stopingo
I would tell my Stbx to go to hell
and you should too
This guy is trying everything he can to work his way back in...good for you for not allowing him. DONT let him guilt you into anything!! Stay strong as this can lead to nothing good.
I had the same situation and at first I allowed him to do it to me...then finally I had enough and put a stop to it ..thank God. Unfortunately we now are going through a VERY contentious divorce but at least he is not asking me to dinner anymore. Thats just not right!
Stay strong for you and your child as I said...this can lead to nothing good!
I do hope you day is going better...best of luck to you and stay strong!!
Hugsss Sandy
