bass players - uh huh!
after having made a career of dating musicians in my early years, I can tell you it kinda goes like this -
Lead singers and guitarists are completely self centered and arrogant (probably because they are at their core very insecure), but you will never be a priority and "rules" don't apply to them. Completely emotionally unavailable.
Bass players tend to be the quiet brooding ones. Sometimes you can even have an intelligent conversation with them. They do tend to have what I named "G.A.S." (gear acquisition syndrome) - and a catalog from or a drive by a music gear store can side track your life for a week - especially if there is a sale (and you have money). Like most musicians, bass players are always broke and they tend to be expensive boyfriends.
Drummers... well, I never dated a drummer. I only know that the drum stage has to be completely level so that the drool flows equally on both sides. ;-)
