I'm very obsessive. I focus. When it's a relationship, I hyper focus. So I can relate. I replay conversations constantly.
Everybody moves on at different rates, their is no timetable to forget somebody or how they made you feel.
It took a while to realize my marriage was really over and then some time to grieve it and get over it. It got better over time, until I started thinking about him less and less and the anger subsided.
I'm involved with somebody else again and I'm going thru the same again - I can't stop thinking about him.
Hope you find inner peace and stay strong.
To be blunt? You're handling this just like "everyone else". There's nothing medically or psychologically wrong with you. Nothing to blame this in except your CHOICE in focusing on this.
Once you accept that YOU have the power to change your mindset, you will. But not one second before. YOU have the power here, totally and completely. You don't think about "him" 24 hours, you have minutes when you don't. Those minutes get longer and longer.
