I have to agree with the fact that people are rarely able to be completely honest about the cause of the break up - whether intentionally, or not. It's all perception, smoke and mirrors.

Sometimes a good therapist helps you get honest - helps you understand your part without judegment or blame. And if you do try therapy look for a therapist that seems to make sense - not one you think would be a good 'friend' - if you like them (too much) that is not always a good sign.
