Is it getting better?

I didn't cry today. Not that I had a good day or anything. To be honest I kinda wasted it. I didn't have school or work and I just kinda napped on and off, did an errand, turned in a couple homework assignments and play with my dog a little. A waste of a day really. But I was just so tired. It's like I'm just tired of mourning the loss of my ex. I'm still sad. And I still have trigger moments but I'm not crying today.

A whole day without crying is great! You will be surprised...one day you can't go 15 minutes without crying and then the next thing you know you will go days...weeks...months!

Hi Brooklynn, when my husband first left I was hysterical. I couldnt eat, drink, breath or get off the couch. I was sick to my stomach, felt like I was going to vomit at all times. And cried if someone looked at me. Sounds silly but even the simple act of washing dishes or preparing dinner reminded me of him and it was too painful to do. But I just kept pushing forward. I HATE to do those things because I have 3 children I need to take care of. I went from crying all day long to, having a few crying spells a day, then a couple a day, then every other day, then a few times of a week. It does get better and you are probably EXHAUSTED! Let yourself have a waste of a day sometimes. That is ok! You need to get some rest. and appreciate those days where your body actually lets your rest :) Just because you didn't cry today doesn't mean you won't cry tomorrow, and that is OK and completely normal. But remind yourself its ok to let it all out! And remind yourself that even though I'm crying right now, I didn't cry yesterday so I know I will have more days to come where I do not break down.

No such thing as a wasted day. sometimes we need a day to just do little things or even lay on the couch and watch tv. We need time to heal and get better. It's very draining to be so emotional.

I am guessing your last post means crying? Hugs to you. I nearly started this morning but I had to go out so I put it off! I'm not sure anymore if I am crying because of him, the betrayal the loss of my car or because of pregnancy hormones! It's dull cloudy and raining and it's sooooo hard not to cry on a day like today. I had hopes of getting a car but those were quickly squashed. blah I feel awful again now too.
It's not that I even want him back but it does hurt all the time that he took so much from me. It's the weekend and cold again and my boys would like to go to a movie- it's not going to happen- too far and too expensive to get there. So yep I am doing the crying thing again too.
