YES. weird weird weird. The date itself, the experience, not that weird. I feel like Terry Gross on 'Fresh Air' and I like that ... but for me it cannot get out from a sea of weird misty fog...
BUT for some people it goes great. So... um... I have no luck to offer.
But hope! I love to hear about it turn out well! Go Rman! May you find love again!
ps I hear if it's the *right* person, it's not so hard. Specifically, my counselor told me this on Wednesday. So it's fresh news.
It took a few tries to learn the hardship of falling too fast. It is very easy to seem desperate if you venture out too quickly. Confidence makes you look good!
One thing that I have found that helps keep the "games" out of dating is to "hang out" first. If you take away the pressure of it being a "date" away people seem to relax more and you get a better picture of who someone is. Why go through the pressure of dating someone if you don't even know if they are the type of person you want to date? Hanging out take away the pressure of the little things like "am a supposed to kiss her goodbye after the date?".
Meeting for coffee or meeting up to shoot a game of pool is a few examples. Going somewhere with a group of people is good. Go without expectations!!! Be yourself and be honest.
It's much easier to go on a date with someone that I already know, have things in common with.
