In need of some support

The last couple of days have been bad ones for me and I can really use some support from all my friends on here.

For those who don't know what was going on, my ex just got out of jail a week ago after being in for 8 months (he had been there for molesting my niece) and he sent me a message online 2 days ago. I havent responded to any of his attempts to contact me in months now but the latest one has still caused hurt and lots of stress and I have been feeling really low.

I would imagine as part of his parole, he isn't allowed contact with the victim's family. Call the local prosecutor and ask some questions.

You shouldn't be hassled by this guy.

He may be under a criminal court protective/restraining order as a condition of probation - I agree that you should check it out.

Civil law - many states have domestic violence prevention clinics with a legal clinic to help people with restraining orders. Many courts also have family law facilitators to help with court paperwork.

Protect yourself and keep away from this jerk!

Uhh yeah, anyone who molests anyone needs to get a restraining order in their life. No other way to put it. He's toxic, not just to you but society in general it seems.

I sent him a short to the point e-mail telling him that he will never again be a part of my life and that I want no more contact and that I will consider any more contact harassment and will get a restraining order.

Rid yourself of clutter. Sometimes we complicate our life by taking on things that God has not told us to do. We add stress, confusion, and clutter with the unnecessary things we take on and hold on to. We need to use our faith to let go of whatever clutters our mind and keeps us from peace. Ask God to show you ways to simplify your life. Take inventory today, and start throwing out whatever is filling your life with unproductive distractions (like your ex). God wants you to enjoy your day, so get rid of whatever he shows you to give up. You can do it.
