Once and a while we get to celebrate on Daily Strengths someone accomplishments and it gives us hope and lifts us up.I received a note last night from ILUVRUFUS Pt 2 that she has completed her nursing studies!!!
I read on occasion people asking how they can may it through their divorce and should they start dating again because they are lonely and want to help mitigate the pain and I think Rufus shows us how it's done. Despite the incredible odds and have little support both financially and more importantly emotionally from her family and over coming tremendous personal tragedies she accomplished something that she can take ownership of and no one can take it away from her.
I always hear the word HERO thrown around mostly to describe an athlete and someone famous, but I know the real hero are the people that can set examples for us(People like you and me) the ones who despite the odds a get themselves out of bed, pick themselves up off the mat.....the ones who just don't quit, you are inspired by these people who despite begin afraid face their fears face them, challenges them. Rufus is a Hero, a young woman determined to not be the victim, inspires us to keep on fighting even in the darkest moments
We are so very Lucky to have you on here Rufus, your new life in front of you, how exciting can this be for you?

One so seldom gets an accolade like this in life, so it is really nice when a friend acknowledges it.
