Boys, boys, boys ... azuca, Everclear is 190 proof grain alcohol - it's the strongest stuff besides moonshine you can drink. Don't listen to these knuckleheads. The last (and only) time I had Everclear, I felt drunk for 3 days ... blech.

There used to be this stuff named "Purple Passion" sold in licquor stores in Mass. It was basically grape soda with Everclear. Couldn't even taste the alcohol, but all it took was the 4-pack that it was sold in....done.

I suggest the authentic, though it might be easier to get the right taste by buying a bottle of margarita mix rather than making your own.

Steer clear of tequila! Try some flavored vodka mixed with soda. You can use pepsi, sprite, whatever sodas you prefer. If you are not a drinker one or two should be fine to get you buzzed. Drink lots of water and take an ibuprofen before bed. Wine is good in moderation, but not good to get drunk with. Like SD said, big headache if you drink too much wine, no matter how much water you drink with it. If you go for the everclear, have one drnk and make sure you have someone around to hold your hair back for you. Let us know what you decide to drink, and how you feel thursday! One of the sweetest thing my favorite bar/restaurant did was make a special martini for my birthday. I love grape juice bars so they came up with a grapetini that was actually something everyone there liked.

Guess what? I'm 54 years old and have never been drunk in my life! I don't feel I've missed a thing. I love to go out and dance and have the time of my life, but I don't drink and never have. I've had a drink, but it has to be fruity! I tasted cherry vodka at my son's the other night and he warned me I wouldn't like it. I spit it out! Yuk. Yes, I'm a wus, but it's OK. I'm never sitting in a chair at a dance...too busy on the floor and drinkiing lots of water! If you do get drunk, make sure you don't drive. I'm not some old lady type either; I'm pretty hip! LOL I'm the driver for others and they let me drive their hip sports cars!

Yes, I would stick with maybe wine no sweet drinks. If you do get wasted and get the spins when you go to bed put a hard cover book under your head, it really does help.

take it from an all too experienced drinker that fruity drinks are not the way to go. Yes they are delicious but you will have the hangover from hell the next day. Alcohol already metabolizes as sugar in the bloodstream. When you add MORE sugar by adding fruity flavored mixers you compound the hangover effect. I drink Vodka tonics or vodka sodas. U get drunk but minimize the hangover. Oh and it has to be the good vodka, Belvedere, Chopin that is 5 times filtered. The cheap vodka has alot of contaminants in it that further give you a hangover. The more times the vodka has been filtered the less contaminants.
