I want to break up with my boyfriend, but I don't know where to start. Our relationship has been really good overall, but I want to move on with my life and my boyfriend doesn't seem like he wants to since he hasn't made any changes to do so. I told him I want to move out of my parents house too, but he hasn't put in much effort to look for a new job so we can move in together. I also only see him on weekends and not so much during the week since we live an hour apart from each other. I've never dumped someone before so I'm new to this, but I'm so afraid. I'm afraid of hurting him because I care about him so much. I want to stay friends with him if we do break up. Please help me!
