Hello I am back again hope everyone has been ok I have been feeling some kind of way I have been in an relationship with this guy for 8 years I have been hoping for the best for us but things still aren't going right the guy I have been with is still having problems with drinking Alcohol today was the Last straw he has been running in and out of the house it could be 100 degrees outside and he will stay outside on the bench with his buddies and drink and come home drunk I got so fed up I had to have him put out of my home why am I feeling like I did something wrong I just want him to go in for treatment but ever time I mention it he will not do it I am not trying to control him but I just want him to get better before something happens to him  I been with himfor 8 years and I just will not let go I know I can't change him but what else should I do

You can only do so much. You cannot get him to stop drinking. That has to be him. You have to look after yourself now. Go to partners of Alcoholic, learn how to pull yourself out of that toxic life. Call his family and tell them to pick him up. I lived with such a guy for 25 years. Every time hoping that he would change, Praying that he saw what he was doing to himself. Nope did not work. I finally threw in the towel. It will be a hard journey but you can do it. Learn to love and appreciate the smart person you are. Hugs and stay strong. You can do it.

    Hello everyone, I haven't been online in a while, but I just feel that I need to vent tonight with someone I've been in a relationship with a guy since 2013 and everything was fine when we first got together, but it's like the last four years things has been kind of rocky. We were going to get married once we went for the license and everything but the six months expired so we never got married...
