We got married 17 years ago, today. It's a difficult day for me. I've tried to focus on other things, like getting things ready for the move. I got lots of "snackies" and have been trying to watch "Tales from the Crypt", but no dice. The home movie in my head is on a loop. So is the music I hear in my head.
I thought about getting one of the dogs for a sleepover, but decided that was not a good idea.
So, I'm going to take a couple or 8 pills, a shot of Fireball whiskey, and read until the movie and the music shut down for the night. I think I did better than I did last year. Maybe next year, I will do better.

You have to feel what is going on in your head and your heart. Don't try to ignore what you are feeling. Acknowledge it, feel it and start over in the morning.

It is dangerous to take a bunch of pills with alcohol. I would suggest a pet of some kind. I have been separated for almost two months now I don't know how I would have made it with out my corgi. It can be a very lonely time in a persons life.

Sometimes when I feel this way, I just lean into it. I put in horrible romantic comedies, eat food I would never touch and just cry. I go to sleep, wake up and start the day fresh.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
