I was just coming back from a fire call and fortunately was driving a fire truck. I happened to see the scum ex friend of mine that ran off with my girlfriend and my immediate reaction was to confront him. Once I got my bearings about me, I simply continued back to the fire house and came back to work.

I have never wanted to pound the shit out of someone so bad! This SOB is causing trouble still for me at work not to mention he has violated our friendship. I feel like he has a smug look on his face and I want to knock it off for him.

I know this is not the answer.... just venting I guess!

Its so hard to control my thoughts and emotions most of the time...

It's great that you showed restraint. Why don't you buy a punching bag, write that guy's name and beat him up everyday (Of course to vent out). You should not keep that anger inside you. I know how anger and resentment feels inside. What is the point of burning yourself from inside when you can do it on a punching bag.

Had a similiar experience like she and him were rubbing it in my face at a wedding . I also restrained myself but left as soon as possible to avoid the Anger in me.. I know how You feel GOOD JOB

i haven't seen the SOB that my wife ran off with. i hope that i never have to, but i know i will. i want to do more than beat the crap out of him. hopefully when it happens i will be able to show the self control that you did.

Just remember, these affairs usually don't last. Neither one of them got a prize.

I got to see the one my boyfriend of 13 years took up with
because he hired her to work with us. She always has a
smug look on her face and sweetly asks how my cancer
is going. I quit my job there because I knew I would do
something stupid and end up in trouble. I know my scar from
surgery grosses him out but his girl friend with her missing
teeth grosses me out. Wish I was as strong as you are.
Maybe one day ...

it must be really hard for you with him being your friend. i have to see my stbx with his gf every time he comes to get the kids and on there FB pages but they have only been together for a few months i couldn't imagine if she was someone i knew before.
