Hello folks. I joined this site about 2 years ago when my wife broke my heart and told me our marriage was over. It took well over 6 months before I started to feel like myself again. I started to go out, have fun and live my life again. After a year and a half of being single (at times very lonely) my ex wife entered my life again, wanting to get back together and work things out. I, still in love with her, took her back and she moved back in shortly after.

Well, 6 months into our re-established relationship, she said she doesn't know how she feels and needs space to figure things out. She went to Lake Tahoe for the weekend and sent me a text stating that she doesn't deserve me. She also added that she doesn't know how she feels and thinks she's better off alone.

So, here I go again, in pain, in misery and depressed beyond belief. The pain feels worse this time for some reason and I just don't know if I can emotionally go through the pain again. Now I'm back here looking for some emotional support, because this site helped me through some very dark times a couple of years ago.

I'm sure my posts from 2 years ago can be searched on this site if you all want some background on my situation.

I hate this feeling.

I'm new to this site and read your story first. I would have done the same thing and taken my husband back . I figure if you've been through this mess once then you truly know things get better with time. i hope good things happen for you quickly!

Hi Tabatha. Welcome to this site. There are a lot of people here that are a great source of support. The comments I received from them helped me a lot and truth be told, I probably wouldn't have done better if it wasn't for this site. Again, it's very unfortunate that I am back. As I mentioned, the pain the second time around seems to be worse. I guess it's because I had high hopes that things would be better.

I feel your pain tailsping2016 my husband left and then we tired for 10 months to make things work. But it didn't. We are divorcing. It is breaking my heart. I love him and probably always will. Which really hurts. I'm here. Message me if you want to vent or chat.

The pain is worse because you are probably close to hitting rock bottom now. Believe it or not, that is good news. Your recovery time could very well be shorter. You recovered once, now you know how to do it! Put yourself first before your wife.

So sorry to see you back Tailspin.. My hope for you is your anger phase kicks in quicker then last time, because its well overdue and deserved! Your wife is being completely selfish, and she's right - she DOESN"T deserve you, a devoted husband, who supports and loves her. She's taking you for granted - yet again. Until you're able to shut that door, and know it needs to stay shut for your own emotional well being. This will keep happening - you've told her by taking her back, that it's ok to treat you this way.. and that you'll always be there for her to 'bounce back' to. She doesn't deserve your tears, or your hurt - what she deserves is your anger, and bitter cold attitude. My favorite phrase is 'the ice queen/king' whenever my cheating ex contacts me - which is only allowed when our children are being discussed - that's all he gets to see, no emotions, simple quick responses. - please please, go to no contact as quickly as you can, and I hope your anger kicks in, and you remember you are worth so much more!

I love the support from all of you. Thank you. I truly hope the pain and feeling of hopelessness won't last as long this time. I mean I've been through before and did ok, right?

For some reason, the hurts just hurts more and the feeling of loneliness feels even more lonely this time. I guess it's because I thought she really wanted it to work this time and I went all in.
