Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
One book that really helped me understand a lot was Lundy Bancroft's book, "Why Does He Do That? Inside the Minds of Angry and Controlling Men". You may not think your stbx was angry or controlling, but some of the behaviours you describe are talked about at length in this book. I can honestly say this is one book that changed my life. Things became so clear. I am putting a link to it below on Amazon where you can read reviews of it, but you can get it anywhere, even your public library. If they don't have it, ask them to get it for you via inter-library loan.

Were they probably would still be involved
With my ex and his family and their activities.
My parents divorced and my father left and
remarried his next Wife hated us so we no
longer saw him or his family.
We did see his family up until his remarriage
then he still took us there, they did not come
visit us. Divorce and addictions keep on giving,
as was said the Children suffer the most. HUGS
