I told ya it would be sooner, rather than later :P
Im not sure about the butchering part..but snowshoeing gets quite addicting...careful there :) Jax and I spend the winter at Beaver Lake :)
Heheh, I have an old pair of wood frame snowshoes with cat gut webbing. A hunting buddy from the Albany area gave them to me many moons ago. I've never used them, but I will this winter.
And the primitive skills group sounds really cool. They explore every aspect of primitive! :-) Here's a summary:
Join us in outings to increase our awareness of and participation with the natural world. Wild edible/medicinal walks, tracking adventures, primitive camping, nature study/awareness and traditional northern arts and crafts using materials hunted and gathered from the local landscape will provide the foundation for our meetups. Everyone with an interest is encouraged to join. The term Wildcrafting typically refers to the identification and harvesting of edible/medicinal plants. While this will be the topic of many of our outings, the broadest meaning of the word is used as our guideline. WildCrafting will include any activity or skill that puts us in direct participation with the natural world for our needs. Other words used to describe these interests are primitive skills, rewilding, feral living or wilderness survival.
Is she in your pics???
I understand some people don't agree with hunting. That's okay. We all have and are entitled to our opinions.
But was there a little lightning and thunder for me? That's an Affirmative! Right now that's a good enough feeling. If there's something mutual, all the better!
however, please keep in mind that you have done tons of homework, reflection, and have grown a lot as a man and as a person. you have the capacity and willingness to fully commit all of yourself and all of your resources toward an enduring life together no matter what may lay ahead.
remember, you are 52 - not 32.
it will be easy to find a pretty face with a cute personality. but, please pick one who can and will cherish you and stay with you should you go broke, become impotent, or have terminal cancer.
Cinderellas are a dime a dozen. if a woman in this age group has not developed her inner Prince Charming yet, then she is not lady enough for you. she is a mere girl.
again, congratulations for getting out and beginning your new life among other singles. that is a huge step and i am very happy for you. :)
And I just bought a shotgun, but it isn't for Bambi. Its for the real animals...anyone who thinks breaking in to my home which is now isolated would be a cool and easy thing to do.
Hmm, if it ever does come to an actual date, is it appropriate for me to ask her if she has a shotgun for home/self defense? ;-)
