The title says it all. You cant fight "the winds of change" I had asked the stbx(this is the first time that I have ever written those litters I think)what would make YOU happy and I was told "to have my own place" and I had to tell her to go do that well not those words exactly but if thats is what she needs then so be it. Let her find an asshole like so many men are. There are very few nice guys out there and most of them are or taken . well i think that 1 more just opened up LOL

This is a great first step and I applaud you. I let my STBX go and within 3 weeks he was "lonely". Too bad...so sad.
I've decided that I deserve better and you may too. Sometimes a little distance makes things clearer. I wish you the best.

I am so sorry that it has come to this.. It is especially hard when we don't want it to happen but am powerless to stop it.. You are a nice guy and while this will hurt and it will take time to heal, you may find another that is able to appreciate having a good guy.. Hugs to you, Kimmee

She doesn't deserve you RTL..seriously. You can only do your best. To me, she sounds like she is clueless on what she wants. That or she needs someone to actully push her in the right direction.

You know the saying if you love someone let them go...seems like that is what you are doing and in the process you will both find what is best for you. My STBX left just a week ago this past Thursday because he needed time to think. He can have it because his recent actions show me he needs lots of thinking and in the end I will not be there this time.
