I have been told once by my husband verbally that he wants a divorce. He now has publicly stated on his facebook page "dissolution of marriage number 2" and getting all kinds of sympathy remarks but he refuses to file. It's all left up to me. I feel like I'm divorced without the legal work because he publicly announced it. I guess because he refuses to see how he publicly announced he is divorcing I am looking for support in someone validating this for me because he refuses to so for me.

Stand your ground. I did and got my fair half out of everything, my X tried to bully me into giving him everything. He should know by now that I'm not that stupid, but he still tries every year, asking if he can claim one of the kids for his taxes? I just look at him like, seriously?

OK- I know you can't do it for obvious reasons, but I would have been seriously tempted to comment on his facebook page that the "dissolution of marriage number 2" is news to you. When was he planning on telling you? I suspect that would stop all the sympathy real quick.

Haha...did get really tempted to do that.....its really funny you should say that.......but I really don't care about him getting sympathy if he's going through a hard time.....I care that he's blowing smoke up peoples ass when he's not even going to file. It really bothers me for some reason and it was embarrassing to me. He threatened to put something up publicly so I deleted him from my page and that is what I got in return.
