I hate these ups and downs I go through. I'm okay for a while as long as I'm busy but the moment I stop this heavy blanket of depression and loneliness crashes over me. And I feel like I'm going to suffocate I hate being alone. I hate him for leaving me alone. He promised me he would never leave. And now here I am. I know I need to be strong it's just so hard when my heart hurts so much. It's been two weeks and sometimes it feels like it was yesterday that he left. This new normal sucks

I'm sorry Strong. I want you to know you're going to be okay again, and actually be even better than before. I know it is difficult to see it at this time, but once you get through all of these emotions, you're going to be glad you're no longer with him. You can't meet someone who is going to be good to you while you're still with your husband. And all this emotional stuff is going to help you grow as a person. You will learn so much about yourself and how awful others can be. It's all part of life and one day, you'll appreciate that he left. You're too good to put up with him.

Well said Elizabeth, i for one am not all the way
There yet. I pray for "indifference". I am at the hate
Stage thats only the flip side of love. They both are
Very strong emotions.

Strong, You will get there eventually. This is all very
new to you and it takes time. The divorce is the next
step thats soul sucking at best, HUGS

To me it was all the legal mumbo jumbo,
Lots of decisions, i was grieving like Crazy
and on overwhelm and overload. Ex was
Playing games over asset values.

It was good when it was finally over no More
lawyer calls, emails or bills. It was a sad Day
but i had enough divorce care by Then i was
okay.

We had reached our agreement two weeks
Prior to court date. We still went to court, it
only took A little while. Signed all the papers
and it was Done, waived the waiting period,

It's okay not to be strong all the time. Give yourself permission during those alone times to grieve. The pain and tears are part of cleansing. Don't fight it. The more we fight it the longer it last. Yes it SUCKS...but as time goes on the pain lessons and then there are longer periods without it. It does get better. HUGS

You’re not alone. We never are. We all need to realize that we are not here by chance but for a reason and a purpose. You are loved for who you are. Your feelings don’t define who you are, because you are loved regardless. Asking for strength to get through hard times is a positive thing. It is not considered a weakness but a strength. You just have to ask. All the best to you.
