Nights and mornings are rough. This morning I woke up and I almost cried. I miss my house. I miss my wife. Last night was also hard and I didn't sleep well again.
I have really been thinking about the problems that my wife and I had. I ended up emailing her a really long and rambling email about things we could do to fix the relationship and how we could refocus our lives to make our marriage work. I told her that I can deal with the separation, short term, but we need to talk and work on things. Maybe we could email so we can talk without getting defensive and things like that. I also told her that we should start working on projects together on our house (it needs a lot of work) so that we can re-focus our relationships.
Do I seem off to hope for this. I know that there were problems in the relationship but I know that if two people love eachother or try to re-build what they had it can be done.
I am having a real rough time because the separation made me re-discover how much my marriage means to me and what I am willing to do to make it work. I just wish that she could be willing to work on things.

I have to agree with you guys and I think that this will be my last ditch effort. I can truely say that I have tried everything under the sun to salvage my marriage and I can go on without a guilty conscious. I have always been the peace maker in the relationship and I have always tried to keep things together.
There were always times when I threatened to leave but that was out of fustration. I would have never left her and I would have always tried to work things out.
