So I had a date on Saturday. It went really well. I can tell that I made one hell of an impression on her and I can tell that she likes me (I don't take hints well and she made it very obvious).
We did kiss but nothing more.
She is very nice but I am not sure about her. She does talk a lot and she seems to be pretty upfront with things.
She does have some features on her that are cute. The odd thing is that I can't say for sure if I find her attractive or not though. I guess that is because that she is a little different from my normal type that I date. I tend to date athletic type women as I am very active and I do a lot of athletic things. This girl is trying to be more active and she is attempting to loose more weight.
Then again this was a first date so we will see where it goes from here.
The other odd thing was that I already got the speech that she isn't going to do some things until she has a ring on her finger and she isn't ready to have a ring on her finger for a while. I thought that was odd to hear on a first date and I had no intention of trying anything further on the date.
The nice thing is that I can tell that I am in a better mind set because I am definitely not in a hurry to get into a relationship but I don't mind moving that way eventually.

I love this very guy point of view. Well, the woman has a unique set of social skills, but... well it sounds like she's honest. And if you are being honest then, well... good game.

The thing is that her personality is very pleasant and she seems to be very sweet. I have learned that it is best to not assume that it will be that way all of the time so I would rather hold off on making any predictions until I see what direction it heads.
As far as the no sex before a ring thing, It very well could be her trying to make a good impression and not seeming too easy. I don't want to dive into bed with everyone I have a first date with, I would rather feel something for her.
The physical attraction thing is not too bad either. So I don't go away from the date believing that she is the most beautiful person that I have ever seen. My ex was very beautiful but she was a horrible person so looks aren't everything either.
Time will tell.

I will say that from what she has said she has had some pretty bad luck with guys.
Some people talk a lot when they are nervous too. No big deal, could always be worse.
I have no idea what to expect but it is one of those things that I will see what happens. Maybe it is best that I am not in a blazing hurry to figure out anything and I just want to see what happens. In the past I have always moved too quick on things and this will be the first time where I haven't done this.
