I keep waiting for my bubble to bust. I mean dont get me wrong, im far from happy, far from being over the loss of my family. But overall I have felt so much better the last month.
Today I met with my stbx to go over our divorce and bankruptcy paperwork. I dropped a bomb on her and told her I was ok with her introducing her boyfriend to our sons. With my new job I need her to be very flexible with the custody of our kids, and restricting her time with her boyfriend would have worked against me.
The truth is I AM ok with it.
Further I expected some regression from spending so much time with her today, and talking about what we were talking about. But I feel ok. Im not feeling anything as far as pain or sadness tonight.
I just hope my progress continues..a set back now would be devastating.

I myself am more or less in the same situation, mine is on a conference and she has her Bf with her, I talked to her today and told her to have fun and enjoy the small holiday. I have fully accepted that she has moved on. I am moving on myself so best of luck to both of us.
But like I said before, you are a strong person, if you do get a small setback, just keep your chin up, you know it wont last long.
My stbx said to me: "ive havent seen you smile this much in years..."
I am like the guy in the Footprints story, I think God is carrying me right now. I thank him every night for it.
