You have to try and take care of yourself at least a little. Even though you aren't going to be living with your children, when they are spending time with you, they need their dad to be as healthy as he can be under the circumstances.
I wasn't trying to down play your pain. I just know from my experience, there were times when I would eat and it wouldn't stay down. So I had to think practically, what will hurt the least if it comes back up. Of course there were sometimes when I would go for days with eating no more than a yogurt or potato chips.
You're not just hurt, your grieving, and that's the worst kind of hurt.
Use the journal here to express your feelings, when you need a hug, post a thread that says "I need a hug." We'll be here to give it to you. You will get through this and people here will help. We've been through the pain, so we know how important having support and people to listen, can be.

Your avatar strikes a nerve with me, In a good way, feeling the same some days.. good luck..
Don't let your depression lead you to drugs or alcohol. That's a one-way trip downward! Hang in there! Things WILL get better for you! There are many people here who have been through the different phases of grieving and are more than happy to give you advice or recommendations.
Best of luck! (hug)
Seriously though, this is going to be a tough road to travel but, step by step, with the help and encouragement of others around you including this sight, you will see a tiny flicker of light at the end of that old proverbial tunnel. Many of us before you have been through much of this madness and fortunately enough, I believed them, I stuck around and things miraculously, have been better. It takes work and self perseverance. Never, did I think for a moment, during the worst of the storm, that this would occur.
Do the smallest of things that you can for now. Those include eating, hydrating (water) and everyday tasks that we need to perform. Be good to yourself.
(((((((((((hugs)))))))
Many of us dropped lots of weight on the "divorce diet." I, for one, needed to drop about thirty pounds so it was a good thing for me, but not eating can make you very unhealthy.
Take care, R-man. Keep talking to us here.
Hugs!
Hang in there!
; )
The main thing is to eat a little, sleep a little , and exercise a little. That helps the mind so much. Keep leaning on us here, reaching out, and in time, you will notice that you feel a little bit better. healing hugs to you, Kimmee
Brother !
Do you have the other half of this pizza tatoo on your arm?
Seriously, pizza is fine, I have eaten tons of it in the last 6 weeks. Just ask anyone here.
Look at it this way. Pizza is cheap, easy, and now you can order any toppings you want (it's just you now buddy - go nuts ).
And the leftovers make for a quick and awesome breakfast.
Eating pizza is a damn site better than eating nothing, so go nuts on the comfort food.
By the way, I was like you just 7 weeks ago. Now there are entire hours where I feel normal. Hang in there.
Hugs,
CMondo
Add on to it but putting your own toppings ie: more veggies, onions, shredded chicken.. I do it all the time.
Tastes better then that soggy shit they end up delivering... and cheaper too.
Nothing wrong at all with Pizza.. and it's great that you still have an appetite. Keep it up :)
Mine has left the building...for now..
