I feel so stupid

I have been in a relationship with this man for 6 years we had our ups and downs but over the last 2 years it’s been crazy I have been dealing with him through his drinking problem until recently he has been lying about going to work he would take off 3 days straight and all he can say is that I can take off and still get my time in meaning  he has time or personal I would get very upset with him telling him you should work and stop just taking off like that he would say I sat on the bus s stop and just drank all day so one day he came home and after telling me he went to work and did not I put him out I am so tried of the lies and the drinking since he been gone it’s like he just don’t care and still talking to the female I had a problem with before I still care about him but I don’t think he cares about me should I still talk to him he really hurt me but it’s like I don’t want to let go he even bought the police to my house to get his papers not his clothes please help

So sorry to hear you are going through this as I know it is not easy for you. Stay strong in what you want for your life! You deserve a healthy relationship and that does not sound like one. I am hoping things start going better for you soon. Thanks for sharing your struggle.

I’m really sorry you are going through this. Is he willing to get some help? Have you considered getting yourself some? I know when I went through a really horrible time with my husband I got support and good, sound advice from my pastor and a Christian counselor. Do you have anyone like that in your life that you can talk to? Sometimes it just helps to talk. You are not alone. I will be praying for you this week, for God’s direction and peace with your decisions. Big supportive hug!
