Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. First day in my new life, living in the apartment. I got up, got dressed and headed back to the house. The drive is all of 3 minutes. Dog met me, and was so happy she bounced off the walls. Kids said good morning and continued to get ready. I said a brief hello to the wife and I headed out to take the dog for a walk. The wife left just before I got back to the house, then it was me and the girls in my house. I got them on the bus and headed to work.
Tonight was counseling for my DD2 who is having anger issues. We all show for the appointment, but tonight I decided to come by myself and come late so I did not have to sit and talk with her. I shopped at SAMs earlier and transferred the goods to her car after, then with out waiting I split.
I am trying to give my wife the space she needs. The energy that goes into avoiding someone that you love is immense. Even now, I just failed. I forgot cat litter and felt compelled to text her.
I think I am numb from it all. The anxity of having to leave. The avoidence. The kids hurt. The stress of no money. I know I must keep it together. I must. I know can't afford missed work. I know I cant afford to lose my job. But at this point I don't care. Nothing matters. Not even me.

I had gone to the grocery store. When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute. A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked. I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds. But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026. I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away. It was an ordinary middle age...

The numbness may be self protection when I one attempts
As for texting her, I would advice NEVER texting her immediately unless you left the oven on (and please don't use that as an excuse :-D ). Write whatever you want to write, but don't do it into the SMS/WhatsApp/IM or whatever, do it in the text memo app in your phone. And then leave it there for at least an hour, but preferably until the next day. Then check it again and you'll find that most times you don't actually want to send it, you'll often feel silly you even wrote it in the first place.
Better still, I'm now writing any such messages directly into my journal, and from there I can just read them later and check my progress =)
I strongly recommend you do that (I never had a journal, read self-help books, went to therapy, or joined an online support forum until now... hey, we do what we have to do in order to survive, right?!)
