I feel like an old used car that my wife got rid of. She has a history of trading in old cars for new ones. I'm the forth one. I guess I have stains on my seat and my engine does not have as much get-up-and-go as it used to. I need a lot more maintenance than I did when I was young and had that new car smell. Now I guess I just have a smelly tail pipe. When she bought me she promised to keep me until I was ready for the junk yard, but I guess she does not know how to keep promises. New cars are too enticing.
But this old used car is not ready for the junk yard. I need some sprucing up and probably a new set of tires but in a year or so I'll be ready for the open road. I'll need some loving care by those around me but I'll show her that she traded me in too soon.

Don't worry about it, the good ol cars are the ones that get rebuilt by someone who knows what a gem they have found, and then everybody else is envious.
Sigh.
There used to be a show on tv that took old cars and turned them into super awesome rides. That is what this thread reminds me of...lol.
You are not ready for the junk yard. You just haven't been owned by someone who knows how to even assess your value..... someone who doesn't know that you can't replace a "classic" or a "vintage" model :)
