Yesterday when I was going to the ECP (entry and control point) to pick up some interpretors I saw this kid who had the nastiest leg burn I had ever seen. His dad brought him to the FOB because they don't have enough meds in the Iraqi hospitals to deal with them. So we see them here at our medical treatment center. What I can't understand is where are all these burns coming from? And why the kids too? It bothers me. I wish I knew why, I think I would try to do a Civil Affairs project or something.

These kids have nothing. A major here is having used shoes sent here to give to the kids. They also have a need for a lot of school supplies. Needs Needs Needs.
