OUCH! I am so sore tonight it isn't funny. That fitness assessment kicked my butt. I am happy with my results and I surprised a lot of people with the shape that I am in (too bad that we didn't have to swim because I would have smoked everyone).

Here are the bad parts to it....My shoulder that I had injured when I was diving in college is really cussing me tonight. It grinds and pops when I move it. My back hurts on my tailbone because it hit the floor everytime I went up during the sit ups (I am not convinced that it healed right when I broke it about 5 years ago).

What do you guys do to get rid of the soreness? I haven't found anything that works well tonight so I am thinking that I will try drinking a few beers!

alcohol will work, not beer alcohol... scotch, whiskey, etc.

I use Icy Hot patches. they work great ...

I'm surprised you can move after what you did. My son dives in college too. Take a hot tub and some advil and you'll feel better in the morning. That's if you can move.

Not sure if icy hot is the right thing to stick on my shoulder and back. These aren't muscular sorness...the shoulder is caused from an impinged bicept tendon and bad rotator cuff and the lower back thing is right on the bone (feels like I fell on my tailbone again).

I was thrown from a horse and landed on a rock. Broke my tailbone. The worst part was that after I layed on the ground for 20 minutes to catch my composure I climbed back on the horse and rode it home.

I just looked at your profile. You're 31! I'm 51 and they would have had to roll me out if I did what you did.

I dont thinkit is only for muscular ... the heat it puts off alone feels good on anything that is sore...

I guess I get this from my grams .. Icy Hot, Vicks, neosporin and a nice glass of something strong can heal anything. :)

Not as bad as when I set my arm myself when I broke it.

When I said that I broke my arm...I broke both bones in my left forearm...both bones completely separated. My bones went back inside of themselves and I straightened it out.

You have no idea of what you can endure until you have to endure it. It is all mental toughness and not panicking.

I need to put a beer fridge in my room by the computer so I don't have to move and go down stairs. I have to get another beer and I don't want to move!

Hot epsom salt bath. By a whole bag dump it into the bath soak for about and hour it will cut healing time in half
