Hello everyone, I am new to the group, I have never done anything like this before in my life. I am currently separated from my spouse who I have been with for 27 years. We have 2 kids together and a granddaughter that is turning 5 tomorrow. Our sons Anthony 25 and Brian 18 who is disabled (autism). I have had a rough life with physical and mental abuse from my spouse. Younger years more physical and now mentally controls everything. I have no say on money opinions and basically have to walk on eggshells to keep peace. I work 50 hours a week and get constantly accused of cheating or lying. He post nasty disrespectful things on social media about women and things he would like to do to them, has social life but I am not allowed. Never helps me with kids, anything at all. Anthony our older son and him have fought physically before and had a rocky relationship since day he could walk and now recently he argued with me over coming home late from work and my disabled son was involved in his anger trip where he threw him against wall and held him by his neck, we are currently staying with my mother no money no car and no home. He kicked us out. I have no idea why I have kept going back for years and didn't get away from him along time ago, I need help and I am reaching out for support for this dangerous road I have lived that I am trapped in. This is mild of things that has happened for 27 years of my life. I am 40 years old and tired and scared . Please guide me or maybe someone has experienced the same things. Thank you in advance

Second, Americans with Disabilities Act protects your son. As bad as everything he's done to you, you might get the fastest response in contacting them. You also need an attorney that specializes in disability divorce cases. Your son may (probably) will be entitled to child support for an extended period of time/ life (depending on degree of disability).
As a Parent, you Need to contact your state abuse hotline regarding your husband throwing the boy. If you don't, you could risk loosing custody.
