GUESS WHAT THE QUESTION IS...YEP, BETWEEN WHEN THE DIVORCE WAS FINALIZED OR THE BREAKUP, HOW LONG BEFORE YOU GOT RE-MARRIED? OK, OK, OR IN A SERIOUS COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP.

OK, MY DIVORCE WAS FINALIZED ON JUNE 18, 2007, AND I GOT RE-MARRIED ON JULY 2, 2007. YEP THAT WOULD BE 14 DAYS.

That would have to be determined by when you met someone that and you fell in love and when you committed to another. Could be 2 days....could be 2 years.....could be never again.

AFTER FIRST DIVORCE - I DIDN'T DATE FOR 18 MONTHS. I was pregnant when he left and then breast fed for a year.

I REMARRIED THE FIRST GUY I DATED. (divorced....again)

Man, if anyone had told me I would be single 14 yrs after my husband died, I'd have laughed in their face! Yet, here I am, 2 broken relationships later....so

Anything is possible my friends...that's all I'm saying! LOL

I was married for way too long to only one man and it's been almost a year since the divorce was final. We were separated for 2 1/2 years before that. Of course it's been just a few months since I managed to pull my head out of my total denial. So I am still working my way thru the pain and have no desire to date, let alone any kind of relationship at this time.

I have been divorced for 10 years a couple close calls but it would take a lot for me to be sure they would bring peace love and happiness to the table beyond dating.....its so sad but true for me....after living tortured ...I dont know if I can do it anymore..

It was 20 years between my first marriage, and this one. This one didn't last 3 years...wish I would have remained single.

i got divorced and 8 years later met the man i thought i would be with the rest of my life, after 8 years with him, he dumped me.

My therapist told me, statistically speaking, that if a person waits 2-3 YEARS between the day the divorce is final and starting to date again, that one's chances of a successful second marriage are good. One needs time to work through things whether one is the dumper or the dumpee.

This will sound so dumb, but so Tami...I don't remember how long. I don't have any idea when the divorce was final with my sons father :-/

We were split up a bit over two years when I met stbx and married him. That lasted a few weeks short of 22 years.

well..if I could find the right person I would consider marriage, I am in no rush to find a man...more about finding me first.
