to know for sure that you have been lied to? Is it necessary to have total proof or is being reasonably certain enough?
I have been talking to a guy for 3 months now, he lives in Mass and I am in Ohio. Talk every day sometimes for hours at a time, and he has come to see me in person twice now. Things were intimate between us though we were never "officially" together. He went to go see a friend of his in Cali. in January and then a couple of weeks ago told me that he called about a job out there and is possibly moving. Turns out yes he is for sure moving, in about a week and a half. He had told me before he went to go see her that she was getting married soon, but her FB doesn't have anything on it about that anywhere and in fact her status changed from single to in a relationship JUST after he had been there to see her (he says it was because he noticed and pointed it out to her). Also a couple people have made the comment about him moving that "things must be going well with that girl".
So I have seen enough that my head and my heart are telling me that something is wrong but he is still denying it. So do I keep trying to find out for certain or just say that it isn't worth it?

only you can make that call.
But if it were me i would just say its not worth it.
I just finished going through something kind of similar in a way, so I get your feelings on this.

Namaste, I think he is. I really am starting to think he was just keeping me around "just in case". When he starting talking about moving it didn't seem to matter that I was in love with him he just kept saying how he couldn't make me happy when all I ever really wanted from him was that he love me like I loved him.
I know that I am not going to be with him but for some reason still have this desire to know for sure what is going on but don't know if it would even be beneficial.
Ugh...why cant he just be straight forward and honest? Its, frustrating I know.
I also know how badly you want the truth to be told.
But..
Would it hurt you more to hear the straight forward words or just go with what your gut is saying?
The gut is usually spot on. Hes skating around the issue and giving subtle clues.
