I ended things with my fiance 6 months ago. I was a mess for about a month after and felt like I had made a huge mistake. Then for a couple months for some reason I seemed to snap out of it. Recently I saw him though and I am in agony. I can't seem to think about anything else. I keep thinking "what was I thinking?" I ended things with him, why? I didn't really have a good reason other then I was having some doubts. I should've let them pass. They are gone now. Now I have no doubts. I want to spend the rest of my life with him. But, I don't know if he will take me back. If he doesn't, how will I go on?
I know you said you didn't have a good reason, and I take that as an external reason tied to him. However that doesn't mean your subconscious didn't have a very good reason tied to something it feared about yourself.
That's what you have to figure out.
You will need to earn his trust back. That can be difficult, but can be done if you truly think you made a mistake.
If you are sincere, and he is a good man, there shouldn't be any issues, if you don't give him any. Everyone makes mistakes, it's very fortunate if we get a second chance to correct them.
