Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Join a breakup group or divorce Care group to help
with the grieving Process. Often therapy at this time
helps a great deal. HUGS
About the therapy, I understand your concern. My therapist are not sympathetic and it actually hurts more talking to her. But she's objective. She gives the none cloudy part of the story about what truly going. I would rather take that than the touchy feely Shrink. I can tell you it really helps.
Also, you can try "Meet Up" to find a Divorce group. I was surprise myself for doing this, but it helps. Everytime you can open up it helps.
The only thing that helps me when I feel like that. Is to journal, talk to friends, talk to family, talk to a support group, and go to therapy. Eventually start setting goals that you want to accomplish. Make them super easy to accomplish. Something I also have done in the past is move into a different house or apartment. Purged myself of things that reminded me of them. I don't know if this is possible for you, but if you can I would consider it. It's hard to be in a room full of memories.
A break-up is a lot like a death. So take your time. Do only what you can, consider what I and other had mentioned, but I think finding emotional support from others would be great...
