Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Sometimes it is hard to leave someone even when you make a good decision about it. Just keep your head up and thinking about things. If he is willing to work on the things that you do not like there might be a chance if not then this was probably for the best. Hang in there
If it's not been working for some time, you have to ask yourself what your are getting out of the relationship as it currently stands. Don't look at it through rose-colored glasses--look at it with an objective eye.
From my viewpoint, I see someone who is unhappy, arguing with her partner all the time, and not getting the emotional support she needs. From my view, what is keeping this together? Is this what you truly want in your life?
People should add to your life. Ask yourself if this person adds anything to your life? In addition, I will close with something I heard on Dr. Phil: if the relationship is costing YOU more, it's not worth it.
Hugs! I'm sorry you're hurting.
Try to turn this around and think what you are opening your life up to, happiness, calm and peace, the possibility of a new romance in life with someone who cherishes you, supports you emotionally.
It's so easy in those early panicked days to romantacise your relationship and think of all the could have been's, it shows you have hope but if he's not willing to work on things do what's best for your future.
Your tears will stop and you will realise how unhappy you have been and the good that's waiting for you.
Good luck to you and take care. Life will get good. :-)
