Read "How to Fall Out of Love" by Debora Phillips.
A little gem of a book.

While I believe there is no stature of limitation on the grieving process however, I do believe there is a limitation on how you go about it. After my so-called breakup I found myself in a dark period of obsessing over this man that went beyond the realm of unhealthy. I did not eat for days, my sleeping patterns went off and I suddenly found myself in a fitful state of depression.
You say this happened two weeks ago and that's little time to heal and readjust from the loss of a breakup. It's quite normal to feel sadness but not to stay in it. One way on the way back to recovery is to keep yourself occupied. I know it may sound cliche and lame but find a hobby, take up exercise, meet new people but don't let that be a replacement for the grieving itself if that makes sense. The more you find new ventures in your life the less the obsession of the loss slowly stares to become. It will take time and most likely you will have to go through this alone. Give yourself some leeway and credit that there is much more to life than thinking of "him."
Where are all the plaque makers??? No crafty people here??? I need plaques.
Of course-be my guest! It's a great quote! It's my montra these days!
Even if alone so you are not afraid that you don't want "that" company... it really helps.
