Your husband is a bastard prick.
Keep all the texts, esp the ones about your son. Go attorney shopping. There are divorce attorneys who have a reputation for going after a man's balls. You need an attorney like that. I know attorneys take money, but going up against a dickhead like him may be enough to entice someone to offer pro bono or reduced rates to you.
Good luck. I'm cheering for you.
I am the single mom of two autistic children (both teenagers) anyone who wants to be with me has to accept my children as part of the package. I honestly rather go it alone for the rest of my life. My children did not ask for this and I will not allow anyone to punish them for it. They are my loves. I wouldn't trade them for the world.
It appears that this child is not his. Do you receive any support from the father? Research and go after any possible assistance programs that can assist you and your son.
Here if you need a friend:)
I recently found out that when I was not around he would tell him he was a asshole and that he will never amount to nothing because he was not able to contribute to the family. the more I hear now that my son feels "safe" I am appalled that I didn't personally see it sooner.
No my sons father has not been around his entire life, my husband was the one to tell him he will always be there for him and he taught him to talk and walk, he was there since he was born but blames disobedience rather than his way of understanding.
if I knew I would have never let this happen and I would have left but it doesn't stop the hurt.
my child chose to not tell me in fear and I didn't see it. that is my fault and my responsibility to fix.
Its hard to fix yourself and your life and your child all at the same time. that's why im here, a friendly ear while I put myself on hold and hurt silently at home. im here for you too if you need to talk.
I remember once working as a TSS, and I had a break through with my client age 6 then. Improvements begun. The husband of the wife literally told me one day that I saved his marriage and he was on the line of divorce. I will never condone what he said to your son that was uncalled for and abusive. But I have seen a lot of marriages break up due to mental and behavioral issues of children, teenagers, and adults that have various mental diagnosis and autism. Men are sometimes like children, and they like all of the attention and when too much of it is given elsewhere they don't like it for some reason.
Him up and leaving means that he may have already started talking to another woman because that was too easy for him. It's time to get your son a TSS worker and start to help him develop skills that he will need moving forward. This will also be essential to you moving forward if you desire to be married now or get in the future. Love your children, always support them, provide for them, and protect them but do not forget your husband because one day your children are going to be adults and have a family of their own. You don't want to be living with a stranger because you decided to pay more attention to your child instead of your husband who supposed to be are covering. I will try to look up as much information as I can to see if he was seeing someone else at any point during your marriage.
And your son's father was he married when you guys met?
