I used to take lots of digital pictures, then I stopped. I am not sure why I stopped probably because I wanted to be a good wife to my STBX and just did not have time anymore.

Well now that I have friends visiting from out of town for moral support, last night I charged the camera battery and went outside and started to take pictures again. This morning I saw the moon in the sky and took pictures of it.

My friend who is visiting is going to teach me to paint with watercolors.

Knitting, Crocheting, Origami, Quilting, decorating, cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, art shows, photography, quilling (an old paper art),sewing, upholstery, volunteering...and I'm about to take up spinning yarn from raw fiber! I'm a busy lady!

I listen to music A LOT! I am also contemplating running....I did it a bit as a teen, but not with the STBX....It would be nice to have something in my life that was never a part of my life with him....maybe run a 5K or two....Planning to go back to school to finish my master's in English----is that a hobby? ; ) I've got some characters/bits that I do, and would like to maybe get some of them up on youtube by the end of the year....Eventually, maybe I'll learn to make some Thai food--chicken satay to start, but for now my frozen dinners, Cocoa Puffs and coffee will do!

I had a toy drum set as a kid--I LWAYS wanted to be a drummer in an all-girl band....

The one thing I have done all my life is read. Nobody has been able to take that away from me. Not work, husbands, child, depression, nothing! And as a consequence, I collect books. I have lived in several countries, and the one thing I lug around with me is my books.
I can't cook :(, I kill any plant I touch, my brother inherited all the music and artistic talent in my family. I do love dancing, but I haven't done it in years, I need to find a good place to go and people to hang out with.
As for Matt's hobby... does it qualify as a hobby????

I ride my bike, sew, love gardening.. I have an indoor hydroponics system for the winter as well as, a garden in the summer. Now that it's nice swimming in the river! oo I can't wait for that... and I like to listen to happy music.

The marital me: did nothing after the first couple of years of marriage, i gave up everything I loved to do to be in the marriage.

The pre-marital me: reading, dogs, roses, guns, getting wood in, hiking, cooking, building things from wood (decks), big trucks, theater, dominoes, cards, board games, word games, live jazz, eating meals out, day trips, lots of things.

The post-marital me: reading, roses, dogs, DS, cooking shows, sleeping, not much, but getting better.

I forgot about fishing! Pre-marital fishing!

i like this thread, it is making me think about how to make my life more interesting and better again.

I do winemaking now, wood working projects (making wine racks and cellar!, beter fitness/exercise, gardening for Habitat Houses, and a part time job at a golf course where I can golf occasionally!!

I initially read this thread so I could get some ideas to keep me busy.
I know I used to like a lot of things, but I suppose they came with the "era".
I enjoy dancing, the total lose control and get absorbed into the music type of dancing.
I know I like being with people and going for coffee or dinner.
I love to read, but have run out of books at the moment. I have searched high and low and have not found one single library in my area.
I loved hiking and being outdoors.
I loved riding my bike and being on my inline skates.
I love sudoku puzzles and cross words.
I also enjoyed taking pictures, but of arb things. Caught in the moment pics. Old guy reading a paper, wave on the rocks.

Right now, I walk to the beach, re-read my books, stay on DS and I'm teaching myself to read and write Greek. I do want to start taking pics again, but I need to invest in a decent camera. Mine dates back to the arc!

I have always wanted to learn to play the drums, perhaps it's not too late.
Hey Birk, how about starting up a girl band of drummers only. hahahaha. I think it could be the next craze!!!!

I like to ride my bicycle. I hadn't done it for a long time until we split. My ex didn't like it too much. Now I'm training for a 150 mile ride to help support MS.

Oh, and Matt's hobby of course!

Well, now I LOVE to hike and photography. Before, I didnt really have any. I was always up his butt doing the things he liked to do.
