Mine left after 16 years almost two weeks ago now and trust me I went to the deepest darkest place you could go in your mind. I am strong today, right now and thats it. Tomorrow is another day and he may or may not do something that brings me out of that feeling but right now I am strong.. Take a day at time, a minute at a time, stop trying to please everyone else or act normal. For now life is not normal and above all you need to nuture yourself right now. Feel the pain, cry, talk...do whatever you have to do to make it thru. He has moved on and I can assure you he is not home feeling like he needs a fix. You owe it to yourself to feel better.

This place helps, keep coming back it will make you feel better to know that you are not alone.

First of all - big hugs to you! Now for the advice, please see both a therapist and lawyer before more time passes. You need to get a handle on the emotions and protect your assets and support rights.

thanks for all your support,im feeling a bit better today as i have had my good friend round andshe always makes me feel better.also my daughter has had her friends in the last couple of days and i love that,i love having all the noise and laughter it makes me feel human again.xx

I have often compared my ex to a drug addiction too as it was the only reason I could come up with for wanting to make it work after a failed attempts.

I know that if I get through this, everything else in life will be easier. I am slowly starting to come to the point of acceptance. We will get there...this website helps!
