On Thursday I am heading out to the Outer Banks of NC for the weekend. It should be interesting. Every year my Father, Brother, and I have done this trip. Last year my Brother's Brother in-law also came (he is pretty cool). This year it will be the whole family.

Looking forward to doing some fishing and surfing while I am down there. The nice part is that I will be down there when my Anniversery with the stbx would have been. I think that I will get into the Rum that night!

What did you do when your Anniversery came up?

Steam cleaned my carpets. I celebrated the weekend before with friends in Vegas.

I have begun to look at this as a new lease on life. There were a lot of things that I would have liked to change about my stbx. Now I get an opportunity to change...just not her.

Seriously...I want to find the right person the next time around. I wouldn't wish this process on my worst enemy!

Heave look at it like a fun process... I mean really who doesn't like to date? So you fall down a few times, but you learned from it and get to do it all over again! I'm excited for the next round... I just hope that someone wants to date me, and loves the Coors lite like I do...I'm a good time damn it!

I TOOK ARE KIDS OUT TO DINNER THAT PISSED HER OFF.ARE YOU DOING ANY 4 WHEEL DRIVEING ON THE BEACH.I GO EVER YEAR JUST TO DO THAT.

Sock...I guess that you weren't just going down there to hang out on the beach then :P LOL

The fish still bite in the rain and the waves still break in the rain. I guess that I will have to pack my GOOD set of raingear. As far as the surfing, I guess that I don't have to worry about getting wet in the rain.

As long as there isn't any electricity in the sky I will be okay and it will still be fun!

started the day by taking rach and the kids to grants farm..fed camels and goats and had lunch..morning filled with giggles..then came home and had to rush to get house and food ready for friends coming over that night..then went to a pleanty of fish dance oh and drank my guts out..

Got out of town with my best friend; listened to some blues bands; went out to dinner. Cried but only a little.

The ocean is a great healer too. It will sooth my soul and help me on that day.

There is this feeling that I get when I finish surfing...even if it is just an okay day, doesn't have to be a good one. I can't really explain the feeling but the closest way to describe it is it is like being at peace in your soul.
