My ex and i broke up cause he couldnt remain faithful. He went on a dating site about 2 weeks ago and now he is off. Im sick to my stomach that he got off cause he found someone. He told me he wanted to sleep around sowhy would he get off the site :(

You need to not think about what he is doing. You are only hurting yourself.

Im curious to why you would even care what someone who was unfaithful and says he wants to sleep around is doing? I'm sorry you're sad but it really sounds like you will better off without him.

lmecklen - it is soo hard not to look, but you absolutely have to cut yourself off from that.

My ex was messaging people on a dating site, which is why I broke up with him. For two weeks after, I went on every free dating site I could find, trying to see if I saw him on there. I was driving myself crazy! Finally, I stopped.

There is no way to know what he is doing, and wondering about him will only continue to hurt you, as others have said.

Please, for yourself, let him go. If he is with someone else, then they will probably wind up being hurt like you.

The looking is not productive. Why did he leave the site? Because he found someone? Because he felt bad and stopped? Because he found a better site? Because he decided to join a singles group instead? Because he read the site got hacked? Because a coworker is on that site and he was embarrassed? You can't possibly know the answer to why he joined or left the site so it won't help to worry. You'll drive yourself crazy trying to figure out things that can't be figured out. It's information that doesn't help you deal any better with it and doesn't provide any insight into him or what he's thinking or doing...

And, he is your ex, so why do you still care about what he's doing? This will not help you to move forward. Next time you get the itch to look - stop and ask yourself what will be gained by looking? What could you possibly find out that will change your life? The answer will be nothing, because the 2 of you are not together any more. You need to get on with your life, and you can't do it by stalking him.
