Not one of my better days. It's snowing and I'm freezing. My stbx is treating me like shit. He wants the divorce and wants me to move out as soon as possible so he can be with his online Purto Rico slut who he actually met up with a few weeks ago, I even signed for something she Fedexed to him the other day and didn't even make a fuss about it. We will be signing the divorce papers this Monday. The divorce will be quick. No waiting period. I'm goaling to get the hell out of here right after the taxes are filed and paid. The end of next month or early Febuary. I will be moving out of state. Back to California where I'm from. I don't know what the hell eles I can do so he won't be such an ass to me.

Lauren this totally sucks. If your stbx is treating you like shit, it sounds like you need some plan to stop this treatment. Getting treated like shit is demoralising.
Treat yourself like gold and find others who will treat you well also.

We'll treat you well :)

I commiserate with you. Seems we are on a similar time table and mine too has been an ass. I think the guiltier they feel the more of an ass they become. It somehow soothes their conscience if they can get you mad. They want to put the blame on us! Just remember this - you didn't cause this mess! It is not your fault and you do not deserve this kind of treatment! I am trying my best to be civil without backing down. He wanted my ring back - I said no way in hell! I have found that my calmness has eased his assiness a bit.

I too am going to be the one to move out because I want nothing to do with this house going forward. I made it a home and it is not home any longer. I almost feel like I am staying in a hotel! I try and try to just see myself in the future, I know I am going to be OK. I try to listen to positive songs in the car. I love "I'm Alive" by Kenny Chesney and Dave Matthews. My friend said her fathers favorite song was an old one by Merle Haggard - " If we make it through December, everything's gonna be all right!" Of course we have to get through January too and get moved but we will do it! Hang in there sistah! We deserve happiness and good people in our life and we will have it.
