I don't think mine ever really knew what Love was. Mine isn't even about me as it is about the kids. How does a dad just stop calling and stop talking to his kids. He fell out of love with me ok...but how do you hurt the kids that way. How do I say "your dad loves you" why would I (could I) defend actions like that. I know in hyrting me it was to justify him making bad decisions

Good answer. I know this is what my cheating, compulsive lying stbx mentioned a couple times in the past and just recently when I found out he was still cheating - "I guess I just took you for granted." It is some SMALL consolation that his lies were done to prevent losing his relationship with me. Too bad I didn't matter enough.

Anyone ever notice in almost every break up one has "moved on" and the one who wanted their relationship to work no matter what... is left unable to move on..unable to let go... unable to feel normal or trust anyone... or is it just me?
