Lost in all this cheating, divorce and separation issues, are the good Fathers. Ones who truly care about their kids, willing to make sacrifices for them and love them unconditionally. 

Men in general, get a bad rap but there are plenty of great dads out there too...and I am one of them. My stbx fits that stereotype of dead beat dad, it's like our roles were reversed. I guess there is such a thing as dead beat mom. She was very hyper-sexual, flirty, needed and graved attention from men. 

She is never around for my kids, gone all the time. She chose to be with her boyfriend instead of with my kids for Mother's Day. She told my son "I'm not putting my life on hold for you" She has said this to him several times when he needed help. He still talks to me about it and it really hurt him. He knows he can turn to me anytime and I will be there for him. 

She has a revolving door of men stopping by the house. Some which give my daughter the creeps.  Stbx has introduce 4 different guys to my daughter in 8 months. The one night stand guys do not get the privilege of meeting my kids, so that makes her a good person in her narcissistic mind.

Everything is breaking and falling apart at home. I haven't been there for 8 months but it's my fault. Kids tell me there is no food hardly in the house. She has no money, but somehow she has enough for the important stuff. Like getting $1000 in tattoos, belly button pierced, lingerie, new outfits weekly and her booze. Zero responsibilities, stiffing me with all her bills because she just wants to have fun.

Nothing she does matters to me now...I say this everyday "She does not matter". I only care for my kids well being. I will continue to love them unconditionally, support their hopes and dreams, continue to teach them to have good morals and values. There will be no mention of stbx's name this weekend. This is my weekend with my 2 kids and my dog.  I will enjoy every minute with them...just being a dad...a great dad.
